The Conductor
The ocotillo takes on the different form of directing the movements of the clouds like a concert conductor with their ensemble.
Core
We sometimes forget that even the sharpest object like the Cholla Cactus underneath their tenacious barbs have a hollow core, a reminder that sometimes others that appear vicious are in fact hollow.
Deflated
The Joshua Tree in this scene appears to have been deflated from continued interactions with its much older neighbors, the rocks.
Den·i·zen
A denizen is an inhabitant or occupant of a particular place. The Colorado desert is the primary place to be a marvelous occupant of its space.
Electrified
The Cholla Cactus as it gathers the first or last light of the day appears to be electrified as its aggressive hooked barbs absorb the light.
Natures Jenga
Proving that even mother nature likes to play games we see her version of Jenga. The only question that remains is whom is the opponent?
Life
1 part succulent and 1 part desert plant. The ocotillo blooms 5 times per year after rain and brings life directly from its bark and not from any branches.
ARAT
ARAT. As our work can be described by those of "art superiority" as landscape photography is simple Another Rock, Another Tree. While that may be the case, I am happy being an ARATographer.

The sky came to life in repeated floods of color and vibrancy all of the sheer joy and delight of anyone that was the observer.

Nature has a natural order of what gets to live and for how long. We are fortunate to be part of a system that will be going long after we are gone.
