Learn from my errors

In this information packed tutorial, explore with me (Nic Stover) and venture

"Into discovery of what I would have done differently"

In this tutorial Nic will review and help you to discover how you could be looking at your work differently, see some simple ways to discover how we look at good vs bad images, and have greater confidence to express yourself in new ways.

Discover in this tutorial the following things!

1. The core 4 challenges we face in our images.

2. How we disrupt the viewers’ attention in our images.

3. 12 examples of ways that my own processing, composition, or artistic intent did not align towards what I was going for in the way I envisioned the scene.

4. A live demonstration in Lightroom of case studies related to:

• Applying better field techniques in my captures.

• Improving my composition and how that would shift the focus within the image.

• Defining better exposure capture techniques.

• Review how sometimes you need to find different light.

• Evaluation of how I could have moved my feet to get a more impactful image.

• Examine examples of how my processing was off.

• Review of HDR and how it can look so wrong in some scenes.

• Discover how to set better white balance and the impact of not doing so.

The last portion will be a demonstration of the power of the local adjustments’ vs the global adjustments as part of working on participant submitted images and discover how can you align depth, texture, luminosity, sharpness, and focus on your processing and by using the tools in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw.
